The renewal process has included the upgrade and restoration of courts, club house and surrounding gardens. This once derelict site has been a focal point for the strong community spirit within the Narrabundah area.
Over 300 volunteers worked on the renovation of the Narrabundah Tennis Courts & Garden Centre

Sensory Garden
The sensory garden, designed by Ric Allen, provides a meandering shady pathway between Kootara Cres & Boolimba St. The brick path were recycled Manuka bricks laid by John Keeley. There is a bench table on the Kootara Cres side and seating under the Mulberry tree on the Boolimba St side. The garbage bins are emptied by volunteers, and unfortunately the garden has been abused by some anti-social elements who trash the area.
Mill Creek Rehabilitation
Overview
The Mill Creek project has been focused on the re-vegetation of the creek through the addition of Australian native trees and grasses. The project was undertaken after the removal of Willow trees that were chocking the creek. The project is now producing a beautiful treed corridor along this part of Jerrabomberra Creek and is a great place for the community to walk the dog, jog, play sport or bird watch.
