Design work is now complete for a safer signalised pedestrian crossing on Canberra Avenue near St Edmunds College and St Clares College. A tender will go out for construction soon, with work starting later in 2026. The paths which cross Canberra Avenue at McMillian Crescent and Burke Crescent will be removed to filter pedestrians to the safer signalised pedestrian crossing. Additional kerbs will be built to make it more difficult for cars to enter or park in the median.
