Transport Canberra has released updated bus timetables from the start of school term 1 on Monday 2 February.
Features include:
- a dedicated bus and emergency services priority lane across Commonwealth Avenue Bridge northbound into the city
- 15-minute standard frequency for all weekday Rapid bus services across the network until 7.30
- modification to Rapid routes 2 and 3, with two new local services in Belconnen (Route 12 and Route 13) to replace part of the Rapid routes west of the Westfield Belconnen interchange
- rapid routes 5 and 6 will extended to the Westfield Belconnen interchange, with temporary modifications to some local bus services
- Four new dedicated school services (1016, 1026, 2012, 2077) and timing adjustments of bus services for 51 schools.
The updated network and timetables will be available for journey planning through the MyWay+ mobile app and journey planner on the Transport Canberra website from Monday 2 February.
Journey planning in both the MyWay+ app and on the Transport Canberra website will utilise the current summer holiday bus timetable until the last service on Sunday 1 February 2026
