Jerrabomberra Creek Native Plant Talk Sunday 13 September 10.30am to 1.00pm

This workshop will discuss the plants that are indigenous to the Narrabundah stretch of Jerrabomberra Creek; plants that help form habitat and plants that would grow best at this site. We will also discuss the importance of these wetlands as an integral corridor of the Jerrabomberra Creek and much larger Molonglo River landscape.

The workshop will be run by Lori Gould, an ecologist with over 20 years of experience. Lori is a Fellow of the Peter Cullen Water and Environment Trust and has recently written the forthcoming Jerrabomberra Creek Management Plan. There will be native plants for attendees to plant at home or keep healthy until there is a planting day down in the wetlands.
