In March 1993 a MiG 15 crashed where the Narrabundah Driving Range now is located. The pilot, Errol Kavanagh and a passenger were killed. There were over 100 children on the playing fields playing baseball. The investigation report is included.
The Errol Kavanagh Memorial has been vandalized and ONCC Inc is requesting TAMS restore or replace the memorial. It would appropriate for the memorial to have some text attached so that the public know something about the tragedy.
